2 Timothy 4:7 (Amplified Bible) I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith. Just thought of sharing a revelation(: I had this illustration on this verse, 2 Timothy 4:7, of the tortoise and the hare story. In case you dont know the story here goes: There's a tortoise and a hare in a certain town. One day the hare challenged the tortoise into a race seeing who can run the fastest, the tortoise agreed to challenge with the hare the next day. Next day comes, The tortoise and the hare met each other at the start point and at the count of 3, they started the race. The hare ran as fast as it could until the tortoise cannot be seen. The tortoise on the other hand, walked slowly. ( well, you all know tortoise are slow. ) The hare thought to himself " hey, tortoise are slow creatures! maybe i can take a nap 1st and he still wont catch up, i'll still win!" and he rested under a tree and take his nap, until it became a deep sleep. When the hare woke up, he was stunned to see the tortoise finished the race before him. Well that's the story.. What about the revelation? The question to ask is why did the tortoise agreed to race with the hare when he know the hare has a big advantage & why the tortoise didn't back out when the hare is already very far from him? The answer is 1 word : Faith. It's just like our normal walk with God, where the tortoise represents us. It's really very tiring for the tortoise to run a huge distance with a heavy load on its back and winning the race against the hare. In reality - taking the hare as the "non-believers", we are same as them, but without the shell. but we serve God, putting the shell on our back, which increase our load eg. attending cell grps, service etc. ,we tend to move slowly than the rest. Without the load on their backs, the "hare" can move very fast, but soon become haughty towards the "tortoise", that's why they paused and "took their naps", which allows us as "tortoise" to win over them(: To answer why the tortoise didn't back out halfway, it's really through this verse : He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. -Matthew 17:20 With the hare very infront of the tortoise, it'll bound to lose faith in winning the race. true? but from this verse " faith size of mustard seed, able to move mountains", the tortoise held on and won the race. In conclusion, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. - Hebrews 11:1

Home has really become a hotel for me already. With the constant going out to study and to play, i counted how many times i really dwell at home and rest and really get together as a family. Someone said this to me: "you see your friends more than you see your parents" , and i'm gulity of that. Dad just asked me a question today: "when's your prelims?" when i'm finishing in another 3 days time. it's really a very good question, question to show how often we meet each other at home. if we just make some time for each other(: speaking about prelims, i'm left with another 5 more papers in 3 days. after that it'll be full gear for O level's. stopping MO and everything for now, just to concentrate on O's. After that i'll be working to get my DSLR(: by myself, no sponsorship, just me. w459 multiplication - i'm happy and sad at the same time. happy because the cell group grew and grew until it became too big, and gives the young ones a chance to rise up. Sad? because this is the cell group i grew up in (not forgetting w362) and i love my cell group alot(: alrighty, back to study toodles~

God, i love You(: You're always here with me, Through storms and raging seas or Calm and peaceful waters, Trials and Tribulations, You stayed with me. When people closest to me leave me, You stayed with me. Hold me in your arms. You said to me : "Child, others may leave you. But you know that I'll stay with you, no matter whatever happens, I love you,my precious." God I love You!(:

Finally, 8 months of hard work. it's done(: take a short breath of relief, and it's time to get back to work again. Prelims, not a time to get distracted, twist the lens and focus to get a clear path of what's ahead. get the best let God do the rest. I believe in Him(: not gonna be a ball anymore; take out when wanting to play, keeping it somewhere when not in use. I want a one way ticket to somewhere far.
